"As a member of the working class I understand how government policies and decisions affect real people. I will continue to fight for working families and for a strong middle class. We need to create more living wage jobs, improve our schools, and make public safety a top priority.  I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate complicated governmental agencies, and get things done."

 LIST OF ISSUES

EDUCATION

I will propose a plan to allow ALL Students regardless of status, to obtain a free Post-secondary Education in any institution in the State, to include vocational and training for green Jobs.

LIVING WAGE

With the minimum wage on the rise, it will still be difficult for a family to be able to have financial security on $10.10 hr. Even though it is a foot in the fight direction that would barely cover the high cost of living in San Diego and the rest of California. The cost of rent for a 2 Bedroom apartment averages $1,400, an individual would have to get a second job to cover all other expenses. I propose to fight for a Living wage in San Diego and the state of California of $12.oo hr.

Protect all of our rights and Freedoms!

As a Veteran of the Armed Forces, I will continue to Fight  to defend and protect our freedoms for which I and many of our brothers and sister's sacrificed, continue to sacrifice and paid the ultimate sacrifice for.

ENVIRONMENT

I will fight to provide access to solar energy panels to families to become more self-sustained and lessen their carbon foot print and rely less on high priced fossil fuels. In addition, this will create a demand for good paying middle class green jobs.

IMPROVING TRANSPORTATION

Working families utilize at least 40% of their income in transportation cost. For those families who do not own vehicles and rely on public transportation, it becomes a financial hardship to be able to provide to all members of the family access to public transportation with the rise of ride cost. I believe and will fight for free youth bus passes for students and youth (middle school to college), low income families and the elderly.
